I took my first breath underwater at the State Fair in 1992. It was a "try scuba" class for $5.00, so I did and I fell in love with it. I got certified as an Open Water Diver with PADI in May of 1993. I continued to dive! Years later, I began to spend time at a dive shop in Indianapolis where I completed my Advanced Open Water Certification. Following AOW, I took the rescue and dive master courses, and I became an EFR instructor.

I worked with the shop and assisted other instructors with their classes for over a year.
I decided I also wanted to be a PADI Instructor and
completed my Instructor Development Course in 2016.
Shortly thereafter, the shop I was working with switched to SSI, so I did the cross over and began teaching scuba.
In September of 2017, I moved to Florida, and began teaching at a NAUI shop, so I became a NAUI diving instructor. In March of 2022, I moved to St. Petersburg, and the rest is history! Now I have joined the Letts Dive!! family.
