PADI Open Water Diver - Standard & Enriched Air (Nitrox)

This standard course includes PADI eLearning, equipment rentals, & air fills.

Personal gear, Educational Kit (logbook, recreational dive planner, and dive planning slate), accommodations, and entry/charter fees* (open water site-specific) are not included.

After completing the eLearning, you will attend four training sessions over the course of a one week. The first session will take place at our shop on Thursday evening (6-9pm) to take your knowledge review and get fitted for gear. The next session will take place at the USFSP pool on Sunday (8:00am-3:30pm) where you will complete your confined water dives.  The weekend following the confined water dives, you will head to Lake Denton for two days to complete your open water dives.

With this package, in addition to your Open Water Diver program, you will be assigned an eLearning code for the Enriched Air Nitrox course.  This course will take you approximately 4-6 hours to complete and doesn't require any dives.  This requires an additional 1-2 hours of in person training time prior to the Open Water session of your class.  However, in doing this, you can complete your final dive of the Open Water Certification using a nitrox cylinder instead of an air cylinder.

Millions of people have learned to scuba dive and gone on to discover the wonders of the aquatic world through this course. To enroll in a PADI Open Water Diver course (or Junior Open Water Diver course), you must be 10 years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health.
