PADI ReActivate Scuba
Haven’t been diving lately and want a quick scuba refresher?
The ReActivate™ program is the perfect way to update your dive skills and knowledge from the PADI Open Water Diver Course before jumping back into the water. Whether you want a few reminders or need to go over the basics, ReActivate is personalized for you.
When you purchase the ReActivate program, you will be issued an eLearning code for you to conveniently review scuba concepts on your tablet, mobile device or computer prior to the pool session.
All ReActivate students will meet at the shop on the Saturday before your pool session, at 10:30am. We do this to ensure that all paperwork is complete, you'll take a ReActivate Quiz, and you will have an opportunity to meet your instructor/divemaster and ask questions before the pool session happens. Additionally, if you don't have your own gear, you will be fitted for the gear you will be using in the pool the next day.
Finally, on Sunday you will meet your instructor/divemaster at the pool to go get you back in the water and help you remember all the skills you learned when you took your original class.
It’s quick and easy, and a good way to prepare for your next PADI course or get ready for a dive vacation. The best part is, divers who complete both the knowledge and in water skill refresher receive a replacement certification card with a ReActivate date on it.
When the pool session is completed, if you want to get a little more practice, you can sign up to go out to Lake Denton the following weekend and get back in the "open water" to work on your buoyancy and comfortability in the water. This dive or dives are available to be added on at an additional cost. Contact the shop for details.
Any PADI certified diver who wants a refresher or pre-travel update should ReActivate. Dive shops appreciate seeing a recent ReActivate date on your certification card because it means you’re ready to dive in.
*We supply the equipment for your ReActivate pool session. The optional dive will require coordination with your instructor/divemaster and an equipment rental fee.
